CLEWISTON, FL – December 17, 2007 – Westway Feed Products has entered into a joint operating agreement with United States Sugar Corp. for the formulation, production and marketing of Suga-Lik feed products.

The combined strengths of the new venture will facilitate further growth of the Suga-Lik business and be a benefit to both Westway and Suga-Lik customers. Under the agreement, the existing Suga-Lik feed production facility in Clewiston will remain the site of production. Production plant employees will remain U.S. Sugar employees. The technical manager, operations manager, salesmen, transport personnel and administrative support staff will all become Westway employees. The operating agreement will be under the management of Westway. The products will retain the design formulations and well-established trade names of Suga-Lik® and Fully-Fortified Suga-Lik®.

Produced from pure sugarcane molasses, Suga-Lik liquid feed is the leading choice of cattleman in the Southeastern United States for pasture supplements for their beef herds and a popular supplement for total mixed rations for dairy cattle. Westway is a large manufacturer and distributor of liquid supplements, molasses blocks and dried molasses throughout North America. Westway’s sister company, Westway Trading Corp., and U.S. Sugar already enjoy a long-standing relationship in molasses supply for rail shipment to Westway’s facilities throughout the United States. The new operating agreement will result in a closer working relationship between the two companies with respect to molasses and liquid supplements.
